About Christine Hunter
My Client-First Philosophy
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Realtor professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients. Effective Marketing sells homes!!!

Area of expertise and strong market knowledge:
Having worked for various banks in my 8 yrs. prior to my Real Estate career, I have an extensive knowledge of various loan programs that can fit most needs. I am well versed in the confidentiality of cash transactions, govt. based loans including CHFA, VA, FHA loans. I have worked with builders in new construction loans, land loans and with 203k & 203b rehab loans.
Areas of importance:
It is very important to work well with attorney's, fellow Realtor's, area inspectors and appraisers.
It is also very important to see obstacles as a creative way to work out challenges. It is my job to ensure the contract closes and know all the laws and rules of real estate to make that happen. Negotiation skills is an integral part of getting my clients what they need and to mediate all aspects of the contract. Knowing inventory well and the logistics of how a home is run behind the scenes is also very important. Things to look for are furnace issues, pest issues, roofing issues, water issues, electrical and construction issues. Knowing potential issues when locating your home can help when writing a contract before finding related problems at the inspection. Having sold 20-30 homes a year, every year has given me the training and experience one would deserve in a full-time agent.
